Welcome to the CUSD Enrollment/Registration Page.  Please refer to the link of Frequently Asked Questions for more information. If you have additional questions please contact the Student Services Office at 909-398-0609 or email the registrar for your student’s grade level.

Transitional Kindergarten Age for 2023-2024

Children born between September 2, 2018, and June 15, 2019, are eligible to attend Transitional Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. Transitional Kindergarten is available at Chaparral, Mt. View, Oakmont, and Sumner elementary schools.

Children born on or before September 1st, 2018, are eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. 

CUSD OnLINE registration

The CUSD registration process allows you to enroll new students and upload required documents on a secure platform.  If you are having trouble completing the online enrollment process and need assistance, please visit the Student Services Department Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

 

What You Need To Register a New Student - You will need the following information to complete the online registration.

  • Contact information for all guardians or caretakers.
  • Names and phone numbers of local adults that we are able to contact in an emergency.  Individuals listed as emergency contacts should be able to drive to the school and transport the student when needed.
  • Medical information, including medications, dosage, and insurance.
  • Previous school information.

The following documents must be uploaded in order to complete your child’s registration.

  • Official Birth Certificate (if unavailable passport or baptismal certificate)
  • Proof of Residency (two current utility bills under guardian's name (gas, electricity, water, phone) or rental/lease agreement under guardian’s name)
  • Guardian’s Identification (driver’s license)
  • Immunization Record - (see Immunization Guide link on left side of page under "Enrollment Forms and Links")
  • Transcript or Report Card for Grades 1-12 (needed for scheduling purposes)
  • If your student receives special education services (speech, RSP, OT), please provide the most recent IEP.  
  • If this is the first time your child has attended a public, California school we will need you to complete a Home Language Survey listed under "Enrollment Forms and Links".
  • Request for Assistance with Medication (for students that need to take medication during the regular school day)
  • Be sure to select submit after completing the online enrollment process.

Important Dates for Claremont USD Residents

May 1 - Deadline for filing open enrollment applications.

May 15 - Deadline for filing intradistrict transfer applications.

July 15 - Any elementary student who registers in his/her attendance area school after July 15 may be subject to a transfer to an alternate school to alleviate overcrowding for that school year.
