Learning Management System

Learning management systems supplement face-to-face teaching and learning with robust online experiences. The CUSD learning management committee selected both Canvas and Google Classroom.

Canvas for Students

Students can log in to Canvas using their CUSD Google Apps for Education username and password. Students are automatically added to Canvas courses according to their class schedules. Students needing Canvas support should talk directly to their classroom teachers.

Canvas for Staff

Staff can log in to Canvas using their CUSD Google Apps for Education username and password. Courses are automatically created and populated from the Student Information System (Q). Staff needing Canvas support should contact CUSD Canvas Support.

Canvas for Parents and Caregivers

A parent portal for parents and caregivers to log in to their student's Canvas courses to see calendars and assignment information is coming soon. Until the portal is live, please view courses with your students. Updated information will be posted here.

Google Classroom for Students

Students can log in to Google Classroom using their CUSD Google Apps for Education username and password. Students will need Google Classroom course enrollment information directly from their teachers. Students needing Google Classroom support should talk directly to their classroom teachers.

Google Classroom for Staff

Staff may request a Google Classroom site from Cheryl Fiello and can then log in to Google Classroom using their CUSD Google Apps for Education username and password. Staff may use Google Classroom, but CUSD will primarily provide support in Canvas.

Google Classroom for Parents and Caregivers

Google Classroom does not currently support parental log ins. Parents wanting access to a student's Google Classroom should view the course with their students.
