Foothill Consortium Induction Program

Claremont Unified School District offers induction, a two year program to clear a Preliminary Teaching or Administrative Services Credential, to certificated staff. The program is offered by the Foothill Consortium Induction Program and is provided in partnership with four other districts. The majority of the program cost is paid for by CUSD and there is a small candidate fee, which is less than half of what other programs and university's cost. A candidate is paired with a local mentor, usually from CUSD, and the documentation process is streamlined and web based. More information about induction can be found in the handbook below.
